And now that the money is in your account, it is advisable not to spend it on everyday use. Instead, you should put it aside, whether in a savings account for future vacations or other long-term goals, or you could invest it in stocks, ETFs, or similar investment options to make it work for you. After all, it's money you wouldn't have had anyway, so it won't hurt you to invest it wisely.
